Gebr. Heinemann: Inken Callsen with the company for more than 28 years
Callsen has been with Gebr. Heinemann for more than 28 years and during this time has lived and shaped the Heinemann culture and sense of family. Prior to her appointment to the Executive Board, Inken Callsen’s roles included Director Purchasing for Perfume & Cosmetics, Fashion & Accessories and Fulfillment and, to date, Vice President Global Supply Chain. “Inken is recognised and respected both within our group and throughout the travel retail industry,” says Co-CEO and Owner Max Heinemann. “We are convinced that with her many years of extensive experience and her deep understanding of our corporate culture and values, she is the right person for the position of Chief Commercial Officer. We are delighted to welcome her to our management team.”
Closing ranks with the shop floor organisation – strengthening sales experience & excellence
The Marketing division, which is headed by Director Jens Peter Peuckert, will at the same time pass into the responsibility of Chief Sales Officer Florian Seidel in order to strengthen the solidarity with the Shopfloor organisation and the Sales Experience & Excellence division. “The key driver of all our actions is the implementation of our mission statement. We have set ourselves the goal, as the most people-centric company in global travel retail, to turn travel time into valuable time,” says Co-CEO Raoul Spanger. “We want to make our mission statement with its six promises visible to travellers in our shops.”
