Symrise: Chief Financial Officer Olaf Klinger – contract extended ahead of schedule. At its meeting on May 9, 2023, the Supervisory Board of Symrise AG prematurely extended the contract of Chief Financial Officer Olaf Klinger. With his extensive expertise and years of experience, Olaf Klinger will lead Symrise’s finance department for another four years until January 2028.

Olaf Klinger (58) has been responsible for Finance since January 2016.

Since his appointment to the Executive Board, he has supported the company in a number of strategic growth initiatives. For example, he has been involved in numerous company acquisitions, such as ADF/IDF in the USA, the French fragrance specialists Neroli and Romani, the Canadian company Giraffe, and the Chinese company Wing Pet Food. Milestones of his tenure included the issuance of numerous financing instruments, most recently Symrise AG’s first ESG (Environment, Social, Governance)-linked promissory bill in the amount of €750 million last year.
