Shiseido appointed Johannes Scheer as Country General Manager Germany and Austria starting the 1st of November 2018. He also will continue leading the Swiss Affiliate until a successor has been appointed.

He succeeds Nicole Nitschke who left the company and will be taking over the responsibility for the German and Swiss Douglas Perfumeries as CEO starting the 1st on January 2019.

Scheer started his career in LVMH in 2001. He joined Shiseidos fragrance division, formally known as BPI, in 2008 as the Fragrance National Sales Director. Later he has been promoted as the Fragrance Division General Manager. Since June 2018 he is Head of the Swiss Affiliate on top of his current responsibilities in Germany.
