BABOR – Dr. Jürgen Blaak becomes Vice President Science, Consultation & Innovation. Dr. Jürgen Blaak has been Vice President Science, Consultation & Innovation at the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP since October 2023 and is responsible for the areas of research and development, technical marketing and product safety & regulatory affairs. Previously, Jürgen Blaak held various positions at Kneipp GmbH, most recently as Head of Cosmetic Science & Regulatory Affairs.

The skin researcher with a doctorate is the author of numerous publications and has a strong scientific network. Among other things, he is active in the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Society for Scientific and Applied Cosmetics (DGK), a member of SEPAWA (Europe’s largest professional association for detergents/cleansers, cosmetics and perfumery industry) and the international IFSCC (International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists).
Ambitious strategy for sustainability also in product development
“It is important to me to live BABOR’s ambitious strategy for sustainability also in product development and skin research and finally to open a new chapter in cosmetic research and science together with the entire SCI team,” says Blaak.
