in-cosmetics – the leading exhibition for personal care ingredients – is expanding to meet the demands of eager exhibitors, making it the biggest show to date.
346 suppliers have already booked their stands for the Milan exhibition, taking place from 29-31 March 2011, pushingstand space to a massive 10,440m², 175m² up on this year’s 20th anniversary event and beating all previous show records. Organisers believe the interest to exhibit is a sign of a revived personal care industry, with many projects that were put on hold during the recession being restarted and an increased number of new products being launched.
Lucy Gillam, Exhibition Director at in-cosmetics said: “The 2010 show was our biggest and most successful yet with exhibitors from more than 40 countries worldwide and almost 8,000 visitors. We certainly set a hard act to follow, so we’re delighted that next year’s show is attracting so many key players – Italian distributors such as the Faravelli Group, L.F. Castelli and Variati, market leaders like BASF and Croda, plus a large number of first-time exhibitors from Europe, Asia and the Far East.
“With the show’s expansion and increased demand for space, we have made more stands available, so interested businesses should get in touch as soon as possible.”
After seven years away from the fashion and business capital, the organisers are encouraging Italian manufacturers who have never visited the show to come to Milan.
Features include in-focus which explores the development of sustainable cosmetics, the Innovation Zonewhich showcases some of the latest ingredients on the market, Marketing Trendpresentations delivered by industry experts, along with Formulation Workshops and Scientific Seminars.
